I have huge admiration for a woman who knows exactly what she wants
and go after it relentlessly. The theme for this issue is the Art of Resilience.
Elizabeth Taylor is our Cover Lady because she is the epitome of a Resilient
Lady. As I was growing up, I watched and admired Elizabeth Taylor, she
was one of the most beautiful ladies that I have ever seen. Even today, in
her golden years she is the most famous woman in the world and still as
beautiful as ever.

Elizabeth Taylor is a beautiful English-born American actress, who is known
for her creative acting skills, high profile lifestyle, larger-than-life celebrity
persona, and many marriages.

Taylor was born in Hampstead, a wealthy district of north-west London, the
second child of Francis Lenn Taylor (1897-1968) and Sara Viola Warmbrodt
(1895-1994), who were Americans residing in England.

She has twice won an Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Actress in the films
Butterfield 8 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? She has also been
nominated on numerous other occasions for films including Cat on a Hot Tin
Roof. Taylor has had a long and distinguished career in the film and
television industries.

Richard Burton was one of Elizabeth's true loves so much that she married
him twice, he cherished her. On screen they were an instant sensation, off
screen Burton knew how to make Liz happy he bought her diamonds.

One of the famous diamonds is the Asscher cut Krupp diamond a 33.19 carat
presented to her by Richard Burton back in 1968, which Elizabeth Taylor
wears proudly even to this day; the Taylor-Burton diamond is most
incredible of all diamonds.

Liz's resilience has kept her in the game for a very long time; she is the
symbol of fine taste, glamour, extravagance, and style. More than any other
film star, she symbolizes the old-time Hollywood glamour and here we will
highlight the dynamics of her long wonderful career.
Ms. Taylor endeavors included designing
jewels for The Elizabeth Collection creating
fine jewelry with sophistication and style. The
Elizabeth Taylor collection by Piranesi is sold
at Christie's Magnificent Jewel Auctions. She
has also launched three perfumes, "Passion,"
"White Diamonds," and "Black Pearls," that
together earn an estimated US$200 million in
annual sales. In fall 2006, Taylor celebrated
the 15th anniversary of her White Diamonds
perfume, one of the top 10 best selling
fragrances for more than the past decade.
