You wrote a book, Be-You, tell us about it and what inspired
you to write it?

After years of self-evaluation I began a "Be-You" campaign to empower girls
and young women to embrace the freedom of just being themselves! The
fashion industry provided a platform for me to speak, coach and encourage
thousands of hurting women worldwide through my Modeling Bootcamps,
Coaching and my book. I am the author of "Be-You-Tiful", a power-packed,
practical application guide to becoming a better you.

Readers learn life strategies designed to address social, economical, and
emotional challenges in today's pop culture. I encourage my readers to face
fear by addressing three major areas of life: physically, morally, and mentally.

I share solid life strategies purposed to guide my readers through the three-
step process of overcoming fears, failures, anxieties, depression, distractions,
and anything that restricts them from achieving success. I share my personal
testimony of how I employed this three-step process to reclaim my purpose,
confidence and the power to be: Be-You-Tiful!

Jada's Top 10 Beauty Tips!
The childhood dream of becoming successful model and public speaker has come true for Ms. Collins.
She believes in sharing not only her struggles but also her victories so that young women will be
encouraged to be themselves. As hard as it may seem right now, the process of healing is far more
valuable than a great ending.

Jada Collins is the commentator and spokeswoman for the largest traveling fashion show in the world
Ebony Fashion Fair. She and her husband, Gospel artist and minister, Ernest Collins, Jr. reside in Orlando
Florida, where they are building upon their strong Christian foundation to impact the world with a
powerful message of hope through fashion, music, dance and ministry.

When you ask Jada what makes her strong, she contributes her strength to ther her belief in God! She
says, "When I am weak then I am strong. And strength is only useful for weak things. I had to expose
and uncover a lie, that I wasn’t ok with being molested, neglected or abused. And at that point of
exposure the healing process could begin.

I also gained strength from what I call my spotter: my husband, who is a minister, is a large reason why
I’m able to handle the heavy burdens of life. Besides we are not built to handle the heaviness of life on
our own. Everyone needs a spotter. With the help of God and my husband, they have made me feel
loved and appreciated. A far cry from what I grew up with."

Jada's Philosophy: In Jada's own words, "my passion is to be transparent in revealing struggles I've
dealt with in life to demonstrate to others that difficult times or past hurts do not 'define' us, our
troubles should be used to 'refine' us."

Be-You-Tiful Philosophy, Seven Attributes of Beauty:

1. ACCEPTANCE - We must learn to accept that we are just the way God created us.
2. FAITH - We must believe in the power of God and in the purpose for which He created us.
3. ACTION - Faith without works is dead. We must have determination to take action-to follow
through on our belief in God's purpose for our lives.
4. COURAGE - We need courage to step out with faith.
5. HOPE - Hope is the heartbeat of Purpose. Hope gives us the drive to pursue our destiny.
6. RESPECT - We must respect our Creator and His choice in how He created us. We have to respect
others based on who God created
them to be. And last but not least, we must respect ourselves.
7. LOVE - God is love. He created us based on His unconditional love.We must learn to love God, love
others and love ourselves.
"Be-You-Tiful is about my life struggle to become me. I
wanted to encourage young girls and women to learn to
love who God has created them to be. This is my version
of a success story. I had nothing and believed that I was
nothing, and was told that I would never be anything.

But in my search for truth I discovered the way to freedom
by allowing a transformation to place in my body, mind
and spirit. This process produced a new declaration in
me to finally say, I am Be-You-Tiful." Jada Collins
